Buy some nice used wheels. Sand them down and paint them bronze. $200 at the most. Then find a simple lip kit $300. Paint lip $200. Drop zone 1.5" drop $100. For $800 you have a drop, wheels and body kit.
I have been on drop zones from ebay for a year and I drive a turbo ex, turn hard, etc and the struts are holding fine. Car rides as good as my team members cars with full coil overs.
Examples of wheels and simple body kit:

Cheap *** Konig's repainted

This body kit is cheap, but looks good.
Photobucket.com is acting up.. Sorry

The paint on the rims is from AutoZone. Cheap and looks good. I know who 3 people who have done it and no one even knows it is painted. Hell I just took Honda Street class trophy at the Kalken Import Showoof in Houston, TX with painted rims.
only things worth it
exhaust wasn't worth it
But full coils are worth it!!
Rims are worth it
And turbo parts are worth it!
If only I could start over again.
Hey I also think a CF hood is worth it too..everyone loves my hood cf <3's joo

All I have to say is that I have more money in just my trubo setup than my whole crx total (car price included). Sad to say but people dont like 7thgens. Not one single 7thgen took a trophy at the Falken Showoff.
Do not get a cold air intake. It does not do anything on our cars. Just remove the extra piping on the air intake after the air box. Kinda like a short ram. I had a cold air intake and did better just running stock airbox with no piping attached.
Do a cheap drop but not lower than 1.5" or you will blow your struts and have camber problems.
Also like I said find a cheap set of rims. Polish the lip with a dremel to take of the curb rash and paint them graphite grey or bronze.
The rest of the money buy the best lip kit you can afford with the rest of the $$. Here is a link for a nice clean lip kit for $325.00 w/ free shipping:
