So I took out my tails today to do some much needed deadening on the back of them and the little frame thing that is left when yo take them out (I had it on the side that's in the trunk, but I decide to put it on the other side of this in order to kill one of the last remaining rattles. So, I take them out (04 tails currently, I haven't gotten the mercedes tails put in yet). I get the right one out just fine. No problem, sit it to the side on the blanket I had out there on the work table. So I proceed onto the left (driver's side) and undo all of the bolts, and remove it so as to take out the bulbs. I get them out fine as well. Here's the part that pissed me off. As I was getting the last one out so I could sit it aside, I DROPPED THE DAMNED LENS. Yeah, a section about 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches broke off the corner closest to the front of the car (that's where it hit when it finally landed). I tried to get my foot under it before it hit, so as to hopefully lessen the impact. Yep, I didn't move quick enough. So here I am with one busted up tail. I was going to glue the piece that broke off with some super glue or something, but that'd look like crap. I already sold my 01 tails, so that idea was out as well. Bad news is, I bumped the table when I wasn't looking and the passenger side fell off it, and broke a smaller piece off of it in the same place. Great, now I have not on, but two busted tails. So now, guess what I have to do (other than get the car to the body shop and have the mercedes tails put on so it looks better)? Yep, you guessed it, I am now going to put the alteezas I tried to give away back on the car. Great, rice parts going back on the car. Maybe I'll smoke them so it's less noticable until I can get the MB tails put on. Agggggghhhh... I hate this day.

Yes, this sucks. I had to wipe the dust off the alteezas and find them in the storage facility. It only took 2 hours, they were on the bottom. Oh well... win some you lose some...

just like what happened to one of my rims... It fell facing down I was gonna block it with my foot but I was too late.. so five spokes are all scuffed.. I feel you..
