Blah, bad weekend
Does anyone else know how it feels to watch a semi back it’s trailer into you and proceed to push your car (three month old car at that) about 10 feet back into another vehicle... I now do...
The entire front end and rear bumper is trashed cosmetically, the support along the front of the engine bay is buckled and the bumper supports and actually bumper are bent and forced downward
The worst part is there was nothing I could do (I was trapped), the driver never looked to see if there were vehicles behind him, and employees for the wonderful city of Carrolton, TX set there and watched him back it and never once tried to stop him despite the fact they were right there...
Time to see what the body shop says...

pics! and the way you say everything is bent sounds like the car is totalled.
is your insurance paying this or is his insurance paying it?

Yeah make lemonaide from your lemons, post pics! :P
I can't say I really know how you feel, but last weekend I had a green light and actually was goin slow n easy... then this big *** semi (I mean, respect to truck drivers, they have a tough job) but this jackass pulls a right turn from my left intersection (he had a red), goes head-on into my lane, I was forced to stop then turn and I ended up on the curb, on far left sidewalk just to get out of his F'ing way. I was like WTF!? (All I could do was swear).
I know, not nearly the same but none the less pissed. Had I not been as careful I'd have been wrapped somewhere under his 5th wheel.

No pics... haven’t even seen the car since they took it away and don’t really want to at the moment. Carrolton PD took pictures of it and the body shop may have, I'll see if I can't get copies of those.
Would be funny if it was totaled considering it doesn’t look that bad and the fact that my brother just got his “should’ve been totaled but the insurance company choose to spend $17K to rebuild ¾ of a 2001 Jeep Liberty” back
Back to calling the trucking company... they’re dragging their feet on getting things “sorted out” with their insurance...
