Engine Mods
I was looking online at www.raceeng.com and they have pistons and rods for the D-17 motor but what kind of gains do you get from replacing these if anyone can shed some light on this.

Rep Power: 0 Rods or more for reliability not so much gains. As for the pistons, you will see a slight improvement if you get higher compression pistons such aas 10.8:1 or 11:1. That's if you are running a N/A setup. If you are boosted lower compression such as 8:1 are good. You will see the most gains if you are boosted and then drop the compression, as for raising the compression on a N/A set up, you MIGHT get somewhere around 5-10 horses depending on other mods.

Rep Power: 0 bah UI looked that up before...I know it's a little bigger then the D16 somewhere around the 74 area but not sure let me see if I can find it.
