Yea I had them everytime I got something tinted. Mine ususally went away in less than a week though. The people told me tint has really tiny pores in it and the air will eventually seep through. I don't know if thats true but mine went away

Me too, i got my windows tint last friday at this place callled WinnersTint from where I live (MD).I told them to tint over the third break light but since they don't have the tools to do it, they told me to go to audio shop and get the rear deck remove for $50.I was like theres no way I could pay $50 just to remove that sht. They said they try do there best.It came out pretty nice except it has bubbles about a size of a bean .They said those bubbles are gonna go away in few days (5 days ).I'll give it a few more days,if they won't go away i'd prolly remove the deck myself and bring it back and get it fix,but overall i'm pretty happy.I have lifetime warranty btw.. just incase.

You can clean the outside with anything you want, but they say use anything that doesn't contain ammonia for the inside. Just dont use anything strong. More elbow grease less cleaner

Bubbles in tint is normal for the first 2 days. Let your car sit in the sun and they will dissapear. They just need a couple of days to cure/dry and the bubbles will dissapear guaranteed.

I wanted them to tint over my 3rd brake light as well so I ended up removing the rear deck myself. Most of the stuff just snaps off. After they tinted everything..I left it all out for 3 days incase they needed to remove any little bubbles. Three days later, I went back to him...he ran his plastic scraper over everything one more time to be sure there were no bubbles, then I went home and put all my interior back in. No bubbles for me

I know the tint shops warranty for bubbles and what not, but do they warranty if the installer scratched the tint. I just got mine redone today and when I got home and looked at it, there are alot of scratches in the tint. Not ones that can be removed with window cleaner, but scratches that have gone threw the tint. They are noticeable if I look at them. Will they warranty that? Does anyone have scrathces in there tint from the installer?

ok, heres my other question. The place I got my tint at has 3 shops in houston. If I got it done at one shop, can I take it back to another shop to have them do it over if they messed it up? The shop I went to is way too far from my house.

did you make sure it came with a life time warranty? i got my tint by a guy who has been tinting cars for over 20 years. he does it at his house and he is the only one who does it, it took me two weeks to get an appointment! no bubbles or anything, and the back window is a really good job. its even all the way around those black dot things and he didn't cut around the third brake light.

When I went to get the 2 front windows redone, I told the guy I wanted 5%, and he told me no papers and I had to pay cash, so I was like ok. Well when I left, the girl who rang me up gave me a reciet that said lifetime warranty, so I am going back on monday. It isnt a big deal about the scratches, but it is so noticeable and paying $65 to get it redone, I want my **** to look nice.
