hey all,
i will be getting a 2004 volkswagen gti 1.8t within a couple weeks and i need some help deciding how much to sell the 'vic for.
thanks for the input!
here are the details with all the major mods i've done:
2002 civic ex
23,000 miles
tein basic coilovers
15'' rota slipstreams with falken ziex 512's
i/h/e + revo short shifter, altezza grill, and a bunch of other little things

Rep Power: 278 Anyone notice the trend to sell the 7th gens at around 30k? I see tons of them for sale with low mileage. Always wonder why, but then again....

Rep Power: 0 thanks for all the compliments. i think most people just get bored with their 'vics after a while and just want to move on to something bigger and better.
as for parting out, it depends on whether i sell the car to one of my friend's or not. if not then i will put the parts up for sale on the "for sale" forum.

You may miss it!
I know some VW techs that say the biggest problem with them is the wiring. Hope you don't run into any electrical problems, otherwise they're nice rides.
