The begining of my false floor. *updated pics page 2*

here it is and it is pretty much done but all i have to do now is carpet over it.

but i cant decide on this, help me out....

To cover the amp should i use plexiglass or should i cut a peice of wood same size of the hole and carpet it so when it goes on it will look like a whole floor?

all coments welcome.

Plexiglass.. although the hide-away amp is a cool idea.. I'd want everyone to see that mine is better than their's..

Plexi for sure, but make it clean. Then get some nice carpet and put it over the board. You can put some neons or a cold cathode tube for some cool lighting on the sides.

I wouldnt post pics of this stuff online..... you never know what thieves live around your area and can accidentally see your car and remember you showing off your system online.

Thats just me though.... I'm a safety freak.

That looks sweet kind of like something I was looking to do but I have 2 amps and they are too big to sink into the spare tire well.
Other than that it should look sweet once you get the carpet on her.
You should be able to get the carpet from any place that does car stereo installs, thats what I did.

That is a very clean setup. I personally would put a light glow under the amp and cover it with plexi. Looks great bro, keep it up

here it is carpeted and plexiglassed. all i have to do now is trim the carpet around the edge.

i think it turned out quite nice, and i kept my spare and even have room for a 2 ton floor jack.

looks good man. A word of advice, if you do cover them, make sure you have some vents in there are even install some fans. I had amps in a floor with plexi glass and they would get really hot.

Looks very nice. The fan idea is good, since it's blocked off down there. You gonna put neons around it?
