pics of my new gauges ***56k die in a fire*** and a video too
and a video too ...

and pics of the car this morning

notes after the install...the air fuel is just fun to look at, it makes no sense at all. here is a small video so anyone that is curious can actually see what it does
autometer air/fuel ratio movie
secondly, the voltmeter works right, but i have anoter video of it jumping back and forth between 12.4 and just under 14 and i dont understand why
voltmeter acting all screwy
overall it was a good installl, the wires were small and hard to clam with the connectors so i switched back to my trusty soldering gun...but im pleased with the outcome
now if i could just get that damn SRS light off

Looks great! I should be getting my Cobalt gauges in the mail soon and I can't wait to install them.
BTW... did you install them yourself?

yeah i installed them myself..took about 4-5 hours all said and done
most of that time was spent staring at the wires and figuring out where i was gonna splice power and ground...when i got going, it just took an hour or so
the hardest part was just getting everything organized...two gauges is much harder then one :-P thats for gearbox

Same exact setup and gauges as me. I got my pod dyed to match the pillar though.
HomerSimpson: I think it does that because the rate changes so constantly.

thats what it does...we dont have or the gauge doenst have a wideband sensor on it, so thats why it jumps around like that
the wideband is $$ if im not mistaken

Those guages look great. I just kinda feel like having gauges for a non-turbo car is kinda...pointless. It just looks good. I mean 'air fuel' mixture? What the f does that mean? But it does look pretty sweet.

Before I got my grounding kit everything made it dive a little bit from the 14 volt range. Since I got the kit installed it more or less stays put until I turn on the A/C..then it just goes down quick and pops back up again.

It looks good. At least you matched the gauges to your existing cluster. How did you install the a/f gauge? Also, you can send it in to get it modified to read voltage at WOT, thus making it an effective tuning tool. I'm tempted to get a digital one, but they're incredibly expensive.
