well u pay more for the signal light one but ive heard from a few ppl that have those that the light doesnt always work... so i guess they are a pain in the *** to make sure they work all the time... bleh... i say get the plain ones and if u want the signals, just get the side markers for the side of yer car... u know what i mean - like on the vw's and the mazdas... so that way u have SOME sort of blinking light on the side of yer car...

Am I the only one that likes the idea of having lights on the thing? I mean, I know you have to do some wiring, but is it hard or unreliable or just plain ugly to some people?

no, i like them with or without the LED lights, its just like sivikchik said, if they go out and you dont have access to fixing them or they are defective in any way, your **** outta luck.

but i guess you could just stop using the light feature anyway, but that would defeat the purpose of even having the lenses.

I dunno, i like them, but everyone has their own taste.

IMO they look better than M3 mirror... those belong on an M3 body style (remember this is my opinion), they kinda look funny on our cars.

prototype has the bomex mirrors... i like how they look but the visibility does suck... i drove the car and the mirrors are too small... so whoever asked "how do u know" to the other guy - i answered for him...

and someone said something about not power... but how often do u actually use the power on them? mine have been at the SAME position since november and i have never had to move them at all

This is straight from the Bomex website:

"AERO MIRRORS: Aero mirrors safety and adequacy for vehicle operation must be verified by each vehicle operator.
Due to mirror configuration, blind spot is larger than factory mirror especially on passenger side."
