side molding

side molding

i have a 2002 civic sedan lx. i hate the molding going down the door. is there any way to get it off? is it screwed in or just stuck there

He can also take the door panels and check from the inside to see if there are any holes. But Im pretty sure its just a stick on and it comes optional on 7thgens.

Yup. They should be fairly easy to remove... Although I think they might leave a mark.

sedans have holes in the side panel where the moulding is attached. It is not grooved, and it is painted, but you will need to fill in about 4 or 5 square holes with something and paint over it. I think it will cost too much to be worth it, because the whole side of the car would need to be painted to blend paint. Just leave em on.

it is just stuck on. we took it off my friends sedan. it was a biotch! after you take it off, the door is sooooo sticky its not even funny. it takes forever to remove the sticky ****. no grooves at all though

SEDANs have 3M tape and plastic clips



so yes, if you have a sedan, you will need to fill the holes and paint
