scrapin sides?

scrapin sides?

ok..i get my car back this evening from gettin my xenon kit painted and put on and he told me that my sides are real low....i have a 2" drop on 17s....im wonderin how do u avoid scrapin ur sides and what do u gotta watch out for? does going at angles help prevent from scrapin the sides like it does the front?? any help is appreciated...

Avoid speed bumps, or go over them at an angle.....

I got the xenon kit with a 2 inch drop and i scrape EVERYTHING. cant avoid it.... those side skirts hang waaaay low. but i got good news for you maing... xenon makes their kits out of really flexible urethane. my skirts have been hit so hard and so many times from the bottom that the 3M tape came off but since they flex like rubber bands its all good.

just be careful..... overall its an awesome kit that you dont have to worry about breaking.

yah, going at stuff at a very big angle, and with as little weight as possible are keys to scraping less. you'll scrape regardless though.. just try to minimize it with weight reduction, and angles. if ya have people in your car, make em get the hell out when get at driveways and stuff.

no avoiding scrapes unless u dont drive the car. ill be having this problem once i put on my kit and wheels tomorow. and it will get worst whenever thoes damn hayames come in.
