this annoys me
it seems like every time i wash my car i notice a new imperfection in it. be it a scratch, chip, ding, or something else. is anyone else like this? it really pisses me off.

I found a nice lil chip on my hood today that actually started to rust a bit...but its so small that I only notice it when Im washin...but I know how you feel and it sucks

Rep Power: 811 Not much you can do. It will get older and more messed up with time no matter how hard you take care of it. I've finally learned to deal with all the dings and chips.

Rep Power: 511 what annoyed me alot today was that i noticed a chip/scratch on my rear bumper that was supposed to be fixed when i got my body kit all done. i pay the guy to fix my rear bumper and then i notice this is still there 
there were two scratches on the rear bumper that were to be fixed, one was and the other wasnt. the one that wasnt is kinda big too. is there anything i can do about this since it has been a month or so since i took the car to the shop?

i feel your pain guys.... i notice a little stone chip almost everytime i wash also. last week, some s.o.b. hit my front bumper while i was in the store shopping. i noticed a black scrape, and had to use bug & tar remover to remove it all. there is still a little dent, but at least no paint came off. it seems the more careful you are, more **** happens to it. oh well... there's nothing we can do, and as long as there are roads/streets with rocks, pebbles, etc... we're gonna get a ding, scratch, or chip here and there. watcha gonna do, it's life....

I take it as it is.. but still pisses me off when there are door dings and scratches from f8cken stupid people parking too close and not caring..
Got several chips here and there, and big paint part missing on rear bumper.. but could be fixed later with a rear lip kit.. hehe

Rep Power: 0 I have a black pearl coupe and its probably the most fragile paint I have ever seen. Im a guy and my fingernails are trimmed, yet there are scuffs in the clearcoat under my door handle.

chipps on the hood and front bumper is a bitch to find. i wash my car in the back yard and its concrete. the dirt sticks to the hose and it hits my car occationally leaving a nice big scratch

Rep Power: 0 ugh.. i hate that. i notice like 10 at one time evrytime i clean it. i love my acr soo much and i get so mad when i notice these cause i take such good care of it.... but yea i hate it but i ges i have to deal with it...

I detailed a black ferrari 360 the other day, and omg... I cannot believe all the scratch marks on this car. If i was the owner it would def be in my garage... then, INSIDE A BUBBLE. Only a weekend car for me. The guy drives it everyday to work (only like 3 miles away) but still?! Couldnt believe all the scratch and rockchips on it.
Im thinkin its mainly cause he goes 100mph everywhere? LOL

Rep Power: 340 Yeah, I always notice a new ding or scrape, all due to parking in a Highschool parking lot 5 times a week... that will do it. Right now i'm not too conserned about them though since she is in the shop getting her whole front end redone... damn wrecks...
