My car got broken into

it finally happened to me, the asshats stole my head unit, TV monitor, amp out of the trunk and jacked my radar detector. Also went through my bookbag but luckily didnt take any of that stuff. It really pisses me off because they messed up my paint around the door where they tried to Jimmy it open, before finally busting out my windows. I dont know how nobody caught them, I was doing outside sales at a flea market, there was a constant flow of people coming in and out, and not that many cars so its not like my car was invisible. Either way, Im parting it out now and getting something else... PARTS FOR SALE HERE

damn that really blows man. alarms are a def must in this day and age. even with a alarm u still have to wonder, thats why i got the illegal pizo. it emits a high pitch sound in the car, the human ear can almost not even stand it!!! lol

Sorry man - same thing happened to me back in October. I lost my deck, radar detector (V1 at that) subs & amp. Plus they stole my CD's and my really old leather gloves. It's sick man ...

A week later I had a compustar installed. Good luck parting the car out man, hope everything works out

Oh, and since nobody else posted anything - I looked up the Pizo, or rather Piezo alarm info - here's all I found. It might not be a bad idea to have a secondary alarm, just as a back-up. Especially with so many "asshats" around ...

i put a piezo siren inside my car. i havent sat in the car and set the alarm off to see what happens to my ear drums tho. haha

the piezo is comparable to a pain generator, at least thats what my installer calls it, a lot of people rag on em, but I have been in my car when it was going off, and I didn't stay there for long.
