I can do a DIY for you guys... I'll take mine apart and redo it it to show you guys.

People think stick civics are so much faster than autos.They are faster,but it comes down to the driver.I've beat plenty of stick 7thgen civics with my auto.

just in case you guys are wondering, thats the one for an automatic, not the one for a manual. (its sorta hard to tell them apart, but thats the whole point of doing this right? ) the button is on the top where it has "1,2,3,4,5,R"

im not really sure what you mean by if its connected. but it's held on by a tiny screw that came with the shiftknob.
