cig lighter panel...

sorry if this is painstakingly obvious...

looked at all the center console removal DIY and that actually involves the entire console. after making my DIY VTEC light i wanna mount it in one of the areas next to the cig lighter where the stock fog light switch is. question is, how do i take out that actual panel with the two spaces and cig lighter? ive come across this before in searches but its kinda vague. details anyone?

Boilermaker1 is a splendid one to behold

If you're careful, you can actually put a screwdriver in the side seam and pop it right out. Just make sure you don't pry too hard or it'll leave an indentation.

Or just pull it.
