Angry I got hit by a flying object!

Well yeah i was driving on the highway crusing while out of no where i see this piece of hard plastic or wood fly off a pickup truck and hit my car. I speed up to get the number on the side of his car it was a business. So when i got a chance to pull over i look at my car and the object had scraped a big part of my front bumper and also part of my hood. So i called the business and told him the story and after like a 10 minute conversation and he agreeed for me to get an estimate and he'll pay for it. Well what do you guys think i should do from here? Should i just get it fixed or buy something else like a carbon fiber hood and new bumper or repaint the bumper and get a lip kit?

Although this would be kind of a **** thing to do. I would go around to very high priced body shops and get the highest estimate possible. I'm betting the guys insurance will be paying for damages. But it is still his fault that piece came flying off. Get as much money as possible out of it and have some fun buying some new toys.

I agree with the others get it fixed but don't try and rip the guy off, besides you only have a verbal agreement I wouldn't try to high ball him or he might back out...

I say just get it fixed and don't be a d*ck about it.....you are super lucky he agreed to pay to have it fixed...don't kill it by buying new toys for the car.
