Well I was bored... so I went to home depot for some wallpapers and what not j/p
I was lookin for some silicone hose 3" diameter, and thought about makin an air scoop for my ride... it kinda have this loud hissing sound when I'm driving on the freeway, for 4' long cost me 30 bucks so why not!
Anyway I cut about 2 feet long and on one tip i cut about 4" into half to have that ghetto scoop goin... I figured it wasn't wide enough so I had a plumbers bracket in the back of it to spread em a bit!
I took the black plastic shield underneath and ran the hose behind the radiator fan straight down the radiator where there's an opening...
Tied down the plumbers bracket with a wire on boths sides so it won't fall off...
less than 10min installation!
Aight here it is!
lookin at the engine bay!

underneath, here's how it looks, it was just low enough, to where it doesn't stick out lookin at it straight ahead
I tried testing in on the freeway, the loud hissssing sound from the intake was greatly reduced! I can't prove it with a dyno or anything, but with the ghetto scoop to get that cool air underneath and push em straight to the intake helps a bit....
Any opinions, suggestions, comments and smart *** comments will be cool with me... thanks for takin the time to check out my ghetto *** air scoop installed!!!

thats a pretty damn good idea, i'd paint the bottom section black so it hides it a little better. [/QUOTE
It's now visible unless otherwise you bend down and look at it from underneath... but painting it is a nice idea... like I said it comes on and off in less than 20 seconds
the shield underneath has little clips on em like the one you see when you open up your hood the one that holds the grill with the "H" emblem...
there's two on left side and should be 3 on the other
there's to phillips screw on the front
and another 2 plastic clips way in the back, you'll see it lookin down from your engine...
it shouldn' be that hard, it took me less than 2mins taking them off, with the use of a flathead screwdriver... good luck!
