hey, i got a question. My Konig wheels clearcoat is starting to peel off, can anybody that has had this problem tell me what to use to get the rest of the clear coat off the wheels. thanx

i never exp a problem like that before, But why is it peeling of? best thing you can use is paint thinner that take it of,

Well i dunno possibly the cold?? I don't put my rims on until the first week in april. and take them off in october.

use some 3m rubbing compound on the clearcoat to see if you can get it to smooth out, then spray a new layer of clear coat on it, and smooth it out again with rubbing compound, followed by a coat of wax. that should protect them from the cold somewhat

i hear alot of the konig rims are like that, where the clearcot starts to peel.

yea mine did that ....nothing you can really do but powder coat them like me.
