Stolen & Found Civic

Alright, I need some solid opinions.

My car was stolen and then found a week later left off to the side of some road. I have 2002 Civic DX with Shiftlite Tach, K&N Ram Intake, 17" wheels, & other junk.

My guess is the guys red-lined the sucker for days. The cars at a repair shop getting some stolen performance replaced.

Here's the question, what type of diagnostics should I demand the repair shop perform in order to assure that I get my car back in reliable running condition.

You know what I'm gettin at? I want to make sure I get my car back with out having to worry about problems in the near future due to abuse from the one week it was missing.

For those that have automotive repair experience, what types of services should I demand concerning suspension, engine, transmission, ignition, or whatever else.

Thank you for your Input.

Update: My Car so far as of 2/5/04.... (Note: Car Stolen 12/18/03 found 12/28/03)

check the struts, have the clutch replaced, check brake rotors and have pads replaced along with looking at brakelines. Check oil pan and pray it works.....
Sorry dude, would have been better if they burned your car......

So I have that age-old question... Does the key chip in the key not work to immobilize the engine?

it's not pointless in a stick. when you pushstart a 7thgen with an immobilizer without the right key, it will start, but the rpms drop, gas pedal does nothing, then it just dies. it dissables the fuel pump

Then get rid of it.

BTW - trashing cars? That's what rentals are for. I feel sorry for whoever purchases the last rental car I had.
