the eyelids affect the light just a little, plus people thinks its rice. on the package deilvered to me it said the package weight was 16lbs.

Yea but I bet the packaging weighed more than the trunk. Once I get my FI trunk I'll weigh it against my stock trunk and let ya'll know.

BTW, Samari....did you leave in your trunk springs? DC5@EM2 removed his springs when he installed his FI CF trunk. That would save some more weight too.

I think it looks nice, but about the wing comment, ya that would look good, but its too much of a risk, the wing creates an upward pull, which probably wouldnt be good for the cf, meaning it may crack the cf and the resin, just my opinion, good thing you sold me the wing.

yea...plus i didnt want to drill in such a beutiful trunk. the wing is dope imo, but i just couldnt find the heart to hurt the trunk like that.

Yeah Carbon fly the fiber images box said on mine 12 . So it is really around 10 or less prob. I took out the springs n mine it didnt stay nice and flush with them

Samari, do you have a system? Maybe the CF trunk would eliminate a lot of the rattles that I have with my stock trunk? I mean, I dynamated the damn thing and it still rattles like a *****. If anyone has any info lemme know. kthx.

not hating at all but not my taste. probably looks better on a black car. maybe in time it will look better. just like when CF hoods first came out everyone thought they look so wrong. but over time it gets accepted.

yeah, i thought the same thing when i first saw the cf trunks. But when you see one in person, you have a different perspective. Pictures do not do them justice, i gott a get mine before the summer.
