Redoned Door Panels
I finally got around to redoing the door panels. i hate the beige interior. i'm gonna do the rest of the car too. This is all being done by me and my friend. no profsionals.... sadly. The door is white. the top part is blue paint over a clear coat to give it that 'crackle' effect. i know tweed is overplayed, but thats what the middle is and the armrest part which i dont think is in the pictures yet. Now for the speaker grill my friend came up with a pretty good idea. Since the grill was white, he took the blue paint and sprayed it from behind! so inside the holes it's all blue, but the front is white. it's looks pretty awesome, but hard to see in the pictures.

looks odd, and that paint is going to chip, thats why most people dont paint parts themselves that are used often and bumped into and stuff.

Rep Power: 365 No offense taken bro. I looked at the link in his sig though, and everything looked like it was on track to be good lookin, but the doors were a bad move IMO. Oh well, it's fixeable for not too much money. But yeah, if he likes it, who cares what I think? lol I just won't ride with him.

Rep Power: 0 yeah, i was just jokin up there. i dont care too much about what people think. to be honest, i'm still not going to change it. just going for something different, thats what they look for at car shows right? also i'm gonna get an old SNES and paint it to match... funny. but it's all good... no hard feelings

Rep Power: 303 Umm..... not my style, either. I think it's the crackle finish. Reminds me too much of my old beater. The crackle was real! LOL. They make wrinkle finish paints that would give it better texture. But props for being different.
i like the white and the door insert is okay.
the only thing im not too sure of is the blue on the top of the door.
i have to agree if it was all white i think it would look better.
nice job though.... like to see it when its in the car.

Rep Power: 375 Its your ride. You do it because you like it not because other people do. If you do you car to other peoples desires it looses its personality. Personally im not feeling the white but i give you mad props for doing yourself, doing something no one else has done and i like the attention to detail with the speaker. I think that part looks good!

Oh yeah, and took off one of the windshield wipers, and recentered the other one. On the other one i threw on a high performance dual bladed wiper i got from advanced auto parts. Now the purpose of this was that removing one blade the wiper motor doesnt have as much drag and friction to work against. This allows for a 50% torque increase at the blade. I feel this is a very essential mod.

Yeah when i first did i told my friends that, and i thought they were going to pas out on the floor. they told me i had to put that on my site, just for kicks. But i didnt do that to be ricey, just for kicks.
