Redoned Door Panels
tweed + spray-on adhesive
first we cut out a general shape of what we were going to wrap, sprayed the glue then stuck it on, then cut out a a better shape once it was on. then tucked it in. after that we sanded all the glue that was on the non-tweed part, masked the tweed and repainted!

I sure wish my car was newer

pichy - that chop looks good, and I really like your door. I think it'd look good if the window switches and the lock were red, too, just for a little more contrast. It might be a beyotch to get all those reds to match though. Just something you might wanna watch out for.
Damn...to the guy with the blue/white interior...eekk...your door looks like complete crap! What the hell were you thinking trying to get that "crackle" effect? Is your car a "sport compact" or is a "lowrider"? I'm leaning towards lowrider as I notice you used tweed! Yuck yuck yuck.
To the guy with the red/white interior...the quality looks a lot better than the other. The interior is gonna look nice....IF IT WAS 1997! I mean come on....Two-tone interior, especially with Red/White, Blue/White is soooo old. I understand that you all want to be different, but do something that is classy, not one hit wonders.
Think of it like this, your interiors resemble MC Hammer's pants. They were once cool, but now, they look stoopid. Sorry...public board, accept the constructive criticism.

dont mind at all, you're looks real good. is that red paint on the dash? anyways, i'm done with doing interior work for a while. to much of a paint to keep clean, and then i gotta worry about cracking and chipping. so i'm just gonna order some originals. lemme know if you know someone with a totaled coupe with beige interior.

I can respect the fact that you're trying to make your civic stand out to your standards and if you think that painting...not even wrapping it with vinyl is cool, the do it. I don't put a damn dime in your car so ultimately, who cares what I like. This is a public forum and you posted pics and if some people think its really 97ish, so be it. Then you say, no matter what year it is, its still gonna look hot to you? You must be some young *** kid who doesn't have any class. Try talking to a girl with class - you think she's gonna get into a paint chippin red and white interior? Let alone an auto CIVIC? Please, grow up and start putting quality parts on your car instead of $2.99 cans of spraypaint. Also, don't try to clown and say that I liked MC Hammer pants - it was a damn comparison to your weak *** painted interior.

Not trying to be an ***, but this is THE most logical post I've read in a while. Sure, it may look good now, but like he said, he will be worrying about cracking and chipping. You learn from your mistakes and I see that this guy did. I take my hat off to him for realizing that its better to go with OEM panels and to leave them alone.

Dude, where did you go to design school??
Let's see some shots of your week *** ride.
You could be driving a Ferrari and you still wouldn't have an ounce of class.
There's NO PARKING on these boards for guys with bad attitudes
especially from n00b's like yourself.
You're just an icky person in general.
Lithium could possibly help with that.
Have a nice day.

1) WHO SAYS "eekk" ???
lease: 2) WHO THE HELL IS THIS GUY? WTF right does he have to rip on other people's rides SO HARD. A simple "I don't like it....IMO" would have done just fine, and not offended anyone...
3) "To the guy with the red/white interior..." Can you not respect him enough to even use his NAME ??? Geezuz...
4) You sound like those "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" dudes..."
[lisp] I mean come on.......Two-tone interior, especially with Red/White, Blue/White is soooo old. The interior is gonna look nice....IF IT WAS 1997! [/lisp] LMAO...I can just see you, one hand on your hip, the other cocked at a 45 degree angle, wigling kina "limp wristed" speaking with a lisp, rolling your eyes all the while...
ROFLMAO...
Think about your words next time you post something...
