someone bashed my civic
my car was parked out in the street while i was at my buddy's last night. i get in my car to leave and it's making funny noises when i go over bumps. i got out and looked and there was a dent in front left fender, the whole thing crushed. someone hit me and didn't report it. turns out there is over $1000 worth of damage. what should i do, take the money and fix it myself for cheaper so i can buy aftermarket stuff for it? carbon fiber hood? i am so pissed right now, that was my pride and joy. i hope i find who did it cause i'm gonna flat out kick his (or her...haha) a$$. i realize this is prob in the wrong forum, but sue me, i'm pissed. give me some ideas as what i should do with my car.

Alrite first u know insurance will cover the damage, next u can take the money and invest in aftermarket parts, and fix the fender urself,
here come the bad thing if u take the money the insurance needs proof of ur car getting fix, so next time around and u have a accident they wont cover whatever part u didnt fix, but then again they cover me I did that once too so dont trip man as long as its not too bad peace.............

my sister had the same thing done to her civic she was at work and some one hit her civic it was the left back side of her 2001 Honda Civic LX Sedan. It was a Hit and Run. So She had to Pay the $500 Deducticble and she had it Fixed at a repair shop. she never did find out who did it. but she was happy when her 2001 Honda Civic LX Sedan Was Fixed and back to normal. but in June Of 2003 She traded it in for a 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe in Satin Silver With 5- Speed Manual transmission. and 17,200 miles later she has had Good Luck With It.
Now Advice for you.
What you should do is get an estimate from repair shops at least 2 repair shops and compare them to what it would cost you if you were to fix the cost and go from there.

always the new cars getting messed up!
about a year after I bought my car, a deer plowed straight into the drivers side on my way home
$600 deductable fee later my driver's side fender and part of the door was alright. Then about a year later, a patch of ice threw my car over the curb and the driver side to the gaurd rail. another $600, but the repair really stod out that time, at least to me.
almost 2 years now withotu accidents. Gotta watch out for parties; lotsa rowdy kids. You figure the more heads around no one would be doing anything stupid, but too bad it's not like that

im glad no one's hit my civic...*knock on wood*....what you should do depends on your deductable..like my parents have a gay $1000 deductable, so for the insurance to do any good, you almost have to total the car.
that sucks, I'm always scared parking on the side of streets cuz anything could happen when your not there. Are your insurance rates going to go up because of this? Anyways, good luck to ya and find some nice fenders/hood to replace the damaged ones. Peace
one time my cousin and I parked on a busy street in Boston near the fleetcenter where the Bruins/Celtics play.... we came out of a bar late at night and noticed his hood above his left headlight was dented in like someone had landed on it and blood on the windsheild... looked light someone fought someone and threw them onto his car.... till this day the dent is still there... lol
happened to me.....chillin at a friends house, come back, my drivers door has a huggggge dent.....i yelled as loud as i could in the middle of the street at 12 30, people were pissed that i woke them up, but all i could see was my car. i got it taken care of though, luckily my insurance took care of it
Cocky guys kick ass!
