YYYYYESSS! White face cluster!

I FINALLY snagged a white face cluster with orange backlight.

Been lurking on ebay for almost a year for this.

Hoorayyy! I didn't like the indiglows. Anyone in LA wants a set of indiglows, come and get them.

Heh. That's the one I used to have, and I got a black face cluster to replace it. Of course, my backlight is EL blue now

This came out of an 02 COUPE. So it's orange backlight.

I played around with other ideas, but this is what I was looking for. I dont want to change the lights in my coupe. I actually like the orange.
Maybe someday I'll try an 03/04 cluster. I know how to change the pinout.

I'm surprised noone has made white face overlays for the newer civics. Just the ones that go over the gauges and keep the stock lighting (not indiglos).

the only white face cluster i know of is the JDM RS sedan, but that has km/h and a little "rs" logo on em.

where did you get this cluster? come on spit it out

Mileage is stored in the cluster AND in the ECU. The cluster can be re-programmed. I think it has around 11k miles on it.

Ok, quick question, and only because I've never seen anyone ask it.
If I were to buy a sedan cluster from ebay, how difficult would it be to convert it from their color (green?) to the orange color of the coupe?

Hard enough that I didn't try it. The color is painted on, in different thickness to make everything look even. Therein lies the problem.

Yes, you can get it from Honda, I checked. WAYYY to much!

i have an 02 sedan w/mt and those are exact guages i have... great lookin if u ask me, white in the day, black at night... just wish i had some damned chrome guage rings... that would be a find!
