Guys, I just hit 60,000 km on my LX 2001. I was wondering if its worth buying the extended warranty? any of u guys purchase it? For 500 CDN I can have my car warranty extended to 100,000 km...NOt sure if the timing belt and water pump need to be replaced by then...they are covered by the extended warranty so thats a plus...some dude at work is telling me u dont need to change them until 170,000 km? any thoughts would help....
Thanks

The timing belt is only covered IF it breaks before it's scheduled replacement in the manual. Other than that it's considered a wear part like any other belt, or your brake pads.

Besides, Honda will do anything and everything to get out of fixing the car.
If you did ANYTHING to the car. Try it, put an air freshner on the mirror. They'll void the warranty on the car.
Well, maybe not, it depends on the dealer, but that's pretty close.
