sweet!, how hard is it to DIY for the push button start? Also, can you still turn it on manually with the key if you would like?

its pretty easy.. i woulda done a diy.. but i made quite a few mistakes...
just remember this... black/white wire is starter, white is constant power, ground anywhere, and use the black/yellow wire for your ignition source

that being said, you should use the yellow scotch locks with 12-14 gauge wire to have it so you can still use they key.. no cutting of wires is necessary
i cut mine because i want to have to use the button
im gonna put in a switch so that i can turn of the damn light when my car is already running so ppl dont think they can push the button when the car is running

Unleaded is an unknown quantity at this point
cool, but if were to do this i would mount it on the left side near the coin tray so that people don't mess with it while the car is running.

^^ On the contrary, I put it there so that people could mess with it. It's great for shows when you show it to people and they are like "That's so cool!" So I let them sit in the passenger seat and they get to start the car up. It helps generate interests in the car.

yeah, i know that the point of having this thing is to show it off, but i am under the assumption that it is bad to push the button again while the engine is running. like when you crank the ignition on a running car and it makes an awful sound. i think the S2000 has it on the left side for a reason.

they don't make these for 5 spd, do they? if so, wouldnt it be better in a manual since you have to engage to clutch to start?

Of course these are made for 5-speeds. . . .

Every S2000 on the road has one, and they're all manual transmissions.

I threw mine away. What do I need it for? I don't smoke and my radar detector & cellphone charger are both hardwired.
