mmm... look how much lower it sits than stock.
i am picking up a new one, from Greg (Hondawerx)... but a base one, since we drive 5spds.
i cannot tell by the last pic, but the side by side compairison is convincing. was it an easy install? i am not sure how the silver clip operates under the shift... and clips on to hold exverything together... could you explain?

You'll want to be careful when pulling the trim ring loose. I haven't had any problems, but I have read where others have broken one of the clips.
And yes, it pops right onto the RSX ****, as if it were made for it. The only difference is the boot stretches a little more up to the ****. If you have a Revo SS you probably won't even notice. It still works fine with the stock shifter, so no problems.

haha it was so easy........ i didnt even read the diy on it......... ****...... i didnt even know we had one..... but yeah man it was easy and simple...... probably the easiest mod you can do....... dont worry about the clips..... you wont break them unless you literally man handle the shift **** trying to get it out.... and yes.... its a direct replacement so itll look like as if it were made for it.

i am worried about the fitment with a stock shifter.
i was downstairs washing my car and well i fiddled with the shift boot and i am not sure it will look good and will be loose enough with stock shifter.
i pulled and tucked the boot around the silver collar and could bearly get into first without stretching the shift boot around. you think the boot will have to stretch that far up? there will not be enough loose slack.

ohhhh no.........its hell easy to shift with it..... the momentum of the shift **** will get you there........ and if the shift **** came stock with the shift boot....... you would never eaven notice it would come from a different car.... and actually...... to me imo... its easier to shift.

s....t......o....p.....
u.....s.....i....n...g....
d...o..t...s...
lol
I had rsx base shiftknob, My stock shiftknob was alot easier to shift. You might consider one. Its bascially same as 7thgen civic's stock shiftknob but in nice leather and red stitching. Futurersxswap has it.

what i mean is the stock shift boot with the rsx ****. the shifter is shorter. right? well then, the boot will have to be pulled UP the shifter in order to clip in place. right?
ok with that said, my fear is that i wont be able to shift around (with a STOCK shifter). because there not be enough slack in the shift boot.
you follow me?

The only reason I sold it is because I have my eye on another type of honda ****...the one from the 04 accord.

You can check it out HERE.
Leather Shift **** - 5 speed
Genuine Honda Accord leather shift ****. Smooth leather adds a sporty feel to your gear shifting.
Manual Transmission. Fits all except EXL and EXL-N models
5-Speed shift pattern only.
Honda's Retail $58.00
our Price $40.80
That's the specs on it. I just like the clean look of it, plus it should be compatible with our shifter threads.
And yeah, the collar is not included, so I'll have to get one through the local dealer and attach it to the stock boot somehow.
