Do you guys think HID is "rice"?
Simple question.
My friend and I were discussing on whether or not I should opt for a VAFC II or if I should complete my HID project (Retrofitting Audi S4 projectors in TYC headlights)
By the way, that friend is CrapyCorollaDX.
He pokes fun at me for driving a ricey car, yet he drives a '92 BONE stock corolla with giant chinese symbols on his front windshield.
HIDs... rice or not?
I say HIDs is one of the slickest and cleanest mods you can do. What's the alternative to HID? Blue tinted bulbs? (Which CrapyCorollaDX has)

Doesn't matter if I spend a million dollars, that's not the topic at hand. The topic quite simply asks, "Rice or not"?
Oh, and this is coming from a guy who also has black lights in his car.
How is that not rice?

Hid = not rice
Black light in car= could be Rice
Chinese lettering on windshield= Huge steaming bowl of Uncle Bens. Considering the car is japanese I would say extra ricey. Possibly the long grain variety.
if you got some wierd purple lights or something it could be ricey. Hids help you see the road better at night.
These are just my opinions though. In the end go with what what you like. It's your money.

Well if the HID's are properly installed and eimed correctly so that the beam pattern is actually on the road where it should be then they are definetly not rice. They are functional. If like me you sometimes have poor night vision they are a great enhancement. i cant afford them so I don't have them on my car, if I could I would. If you are just putting them on your car to "look cool" then yes, they are ricey.
as u can see from the pic is posted all he wants is this line...he wants to pull up to walls and to a line contest with my moms TL and see whos is sharper....if thats not rice then i am driveing an WRX STi...*looks over to his avtare....and wishs he was wong*
