Just installed my Revo SS.
Well I got my X-mas present from Chris(Prod). He got me the Revo SS with Grey's SS kit and a set aluminum bushings. I haven't recieved the bushings yet, but I went ahead and installed the Revo SS and Grey's kit on my 03 EX coupe. Wow. Just wow. I use to have a 01 EX coupee and I had a Revo SS for that, but the throws are much shorter on my 03. I'm sure its because of Grey's kit. I didn't install the bigger pins that came in his kit though. Because it almost 11pm and I don't feel like drilling like I have to to get them to fit right. Hopefully I will get my bushing set by this weekend and I'll drill and install the pins when I install the bushings. And I didn't grease anything up either. So I'm going to do that when I take it all apart again to install the other stuff. I love it though. But the only bad thing that I will have to get use to is that my arm rest is alittle bit in the way. But I'll get use to it. Anyone else have the Grey kit with the Revo SS?

^ hahah sorry! i was at work....so i could really read what i was typing lol. this is what i ment to say...
I wanted to ask Jodster if he had ever installed the shifter without grays kit......just to feel the difference. I did not order my kit from gray but when gray was out of his kit he posted everything that was included in the kit so that everyone could still "upgrade" there revo.

I use to have a Revo SS on my old 01 EX coupe. It was a couple of years ago, but I can honestly remember the throws not being as short as they are right now. I'm still wanting to know if it is worth it or not to drill the holes bigger to install the new pins. Anyone know if it makes that big of a difference.
Oh and I am still using the stock bushing inserts. I should get my Aluminum ones this week(hopefully) and I know that they will make even more of a difference. The only thing I'm having a hard time getting use to right now is my arm rest being a little bit in the way. I've got a 03 EX so I have the arm rest that doesn't move. I'm thinking about checking to see if i can find a 02 center console at a junkyard or something. Unless someone has one here cheap.

^^^^Sorry buddy, but I didn't use your DYI because I have taken the center console off and on of my old 01 EX and my new 03 EX about 10,000 times. LOL nice try though. But I was going to ask you if you installed the pins from greys kit? If so, was it a pain to drill the holes?
oh no, now im not gonna answer your questions..
im finished, zip zero, nada!
and yes, i installed the pins, bushings, etc, the whole nine yards..
and with the pins, i never had to drill anything... they just snapped right in for me, just tap the end with end of screw driver or hammer or something..
but not to hard, they just slid right in..

Yeah, I highly recommend Grey's kit. It really helped with shifting. And I don't even have my new bushings in yet!! Can't wait to install those.

I just got my bushings. They showed up the other day and I didn't get to going through my mail until today. They look great and I'm going to install them tomorrow along with the pins from Grey's kit.

I installed my bushings and pins today. I noticed that the shifting was very smooth once I installed the bushings. All three work great together.
