Probably trading in my car soon...
Well, I have exhausted all my research possible on transmissions.
I have finally come to 2 conclusions.
1 of them being stripping my car of my body kit, rims, i/h/e, springs, cam and vafc2, putting the car back to stock, trading it in for pretty much the EXACT SAME CAR, and putting all my stuff back on, going on with my life including a 5speed.
the 2nd option being, build up my automatic transmission.
I dont know bout you, but i think option one sounds better?

3. swap the engine and transmission from an RSX
not a cheap option...but an option nontheless
option 2 would be more cost effective. Not to mention if you build up you tranny you could go the next step and put a turbo on.

I know it's not a popular option for Auto civics, but what about getting the RSX base k20 and automatic? It would still be faster than the D17 and you could probably build the K20 up more than the D.
The reason I mention it is that if you were to do the RSX-S & 6sp manual swap, you're still gonna spend a lot to convert it to manual.
I dunno...none of them seem worth it..trade the frikker in on something you'll be happy with.
