Fixed that wierd smell from AC
I dunno if your car has this, but my AC has always had this wierd funky smell, its really hard to describe, its not musty or pungent like a fart, but like stale water or something like that... like I said, its hard to describe. My 6th gen civic had it too, wierd. Anyway, I got tired of it after a year of driving it like that so today I decided to do something about it. I was at the local Tobacco shop looking at some pipes, & I bought an ounce of Dublin, irish cream flavored pipe tobacco, best tobacco ive ever smelt. I took the bag & poked a few holes in the middle of it with my knife & stuck the bag in the AC intake under the dash. So now when I crank up the AC or heater I get the fine aroma of irish cream pipe tobacco....mmmmmm you have no idea... this stuff smells awesome!!! If you have a funky AC you should try this if you like the smell of pipe tobacco

So theres my first DIY, enjoy

That's pretty cool, but have you looked at the air filters behind the glove box? (EX) I don't know if the other models have them, but the slot is there so the ex filters will slide right in. Another thing I just found out, the RSX has carbon impregnated filters, that remove any odor. They will fit our civics, but can only be bought from acura. I'm getting a new set this week.
