Hmm pics should be fixed now. Anyways, so far the car runs great, so much more power than the civic and power delivery is smooth. So far I"ve learned that the handling rivals that of the Integra Type R,and is 8th best handling in the world. I really like the way Mazda set up this car for handling, even heel to toe driving is a breeze with it. The stereo is better than anything I"ve ever had in a car, and I love the turbo. There are forged internals available, as well as turbo upgrades and boost controllers and such. I've seen dyno tests with results around 276 hp with the right mods over at www.msprotege.com. I love the car,and will be keeping it for a very long time. I'm still amazed that it's sportier than my civic coupe. Wow, what a car...I can't get enough of it. More info here: Mazda USA and here: sport compact car

Yeah the turbo ones were limited in production. By the way I also test drove the si, they feel similar, but the si has to rev higher to get it's peak power. Also, I chose this car because like I said, the handling is superb. Thanks for all the compliments guys, but like I said I'll still be hanging around, since I donated my honda to my parents, so basically I still have it, it's just that it really is a grocery getter now.

Alot of people make the mistake of getting a bigger turbo first. That's fine if you like turbo lag. You'll make more high end power, sure, but damn by the time you spool up someone with the right sized turbo would have been gone already. The T25 is just right, however it's only running 6 pounds stock. My first mod is a spool Front Mount INtercooler. I have it ordered, but I won't put it on until after break in period. People have seen gains of around 12 whp with this mod, because the stock intercooler is side mounted and small. Then I will get the gauges and the electric boost controller and up the boost to around 9, which is safe for stock internals. After I get forged internals, I'll boost to 15-18, and then we'll see what happens after that. That's just my plan. Peace.
damn, im really liking the MSP... and its a great price for it.. 21k MSRP? hell, i got my EX coupe for 19500 (yea i got ripped off).
nookiemonster: about how much did you pay for yours? and does mazda have any specials or anything goin on?

Well it's kind of a long story, the dealer screwed up on the original financing, and called me to come back in, so I took advantage of their stupidity, and well I got it for 16,500 by threatening to call the lawyer. Oh yeah free oil changes for a year, tint, touch up paint, and replace the tires for free when I need them. Right now I think mazda has a special going on for a 2000 dollar rebate. Don't expect the dealer to budge much on the 21000 sticker price though unless you can catch them on it like I did. Such a limited production car is hard to get them to knock the price off of.
