painted pinstripe removal?

how much do u guys think it would cost to get the pinstripes removed from a 03 coupe....cant stand these things

Aren't they just vynl stickers? You should be able to remove them yourself with some Goo-Gone or something.

You can do it yourself. Just heat it up and then carefully scrape it off.

take a hair dryer or a heat gun dont put it to close to the car but just close enough to make the sticker warm. Start on one end and pull slow!! should do the trick

Just get a Brillo pad and some paint remover, put the pain remover on the stripe and scrub it off. Be careful tho! lol

Take it to a body shop. If you sand it off, chances are you'll ruin the car paint. I didn't take that risk and left mine on.

Why the hell did you have a pinstripe painted. When I read the topic I thought you were just wrong in thinking it was painted. Honda won't paint a pinstripe on your car, or you bought your car from a really dumb dealership. Take it to a bodyshop.

... oh and if it REALLY is painted - can it be wet sanded and buffed out? I'm not sure if that will do it - i had my car wet sanded and buffed to remove the honey-comb effect from honda.

use your finger tips haha thats what i used and buy some citrus orange spray airfreshner to take out all the gooey thats left behind comes right off.

yeh the honda dealership puts em on when they get em duno why....but yeh i took 2000 wetsand and then buffed it and polished it up then waxed it never know it was there
