Question Not sure what to do... performance parts...

We're trading in the LX Sedan this upcoming spring for an Si (EX) Coupe, and I'm just not sure whether or not getting performance parts, like intake, header, high-flow cat, cat-back exhaust is really worth it or not? It would all come to (roughly) $2,000 CDN for all the stuff I want, I'm only 19, I'll have the money from working, but I'm just not sure if it's really worth getting all that stuff, and getting other things, like rims, fog lights, maybe the OEM lip kit, etc...

Plus, since the car will be leased, with the factory warranty, I'd have to get Honda to install the stuff, so there's extra money right there.

I'd just like to hear people's opinions on what I should do, I know it's a long way away, but I keep debating in my head what to do (I'm just like that about stuff sometimes).

People who have bought performance parts, do you regret it? Was it a waste of money? (I/H/E)...

Or should I just get different rims, nice tires, fog light kit, lip-kit, etc...?

I don't want the gas mileage to go to ****, so I'm not sure if getting those things is such a good idea, plus it's not like, even with those things, the Civic is going to be faster than it's competitors, which as of now are already AT LEAST 10 HP up on the Si (EX). And I don't want to be obnoxiously loud either.

Another thing is, I'm just wondering if the OEM lip-kit is a good idea where I live, since we get a lot of snow, will the adhesive come off from the cold weather and snow?

Sorry for all the questions, I just have no clue what to do

lol, you thought I meant a US Si, sorry, I mean an EX (Si here in Canada). In that case I would have said an SiR, lol.

Anyway, for the EX, is the OEM lip kit worth it? It won't come off in the snow will it? And of course we would be running 14" steelies in the winter, won't ruin the rims.

As for a WRX, I sort of declined to mention that I'm only 19, and this will be my parents car, but will be mine in the future, so that's why I get some say in the things we get for it

We won't even be getting the car until May, but I'm just anxious/concerned about getting stuff I won't like, so I'm sort of steering away from bolt-ons, not really worth it I guess...

Anyways, thanks, and sorry for the confusion, lol.

U can lease a G35 for around 450$/month... Thats really not a lot of $

A friend of mine at college (Believe me this is REAL... I dont know how he got it...) Put down 1k$, and is only paying 375$/Month-2 years for a G35 coupe... Basically, 10,000$ for a G35 for 2 years... Good deal, huh? Downside... He doesnt own it!
