Clay Magic... VERY WOW! (pics)

Just used Clay Magic clay bar on my car. Dayam, this stuff works good. I did not know about clay bars until recently. I thought I was going to have to get a new paint job on my car b/c it was so grummy. Well not anymore! This stuff makes your paint feel like new again, I highly suggest it. Well worth the $10.

Looks good, i used the Mothers clay system on my car and the paint feels as smooth as glass.

I highly recomend a clay bar system at least once a year. It really makes it worth it. Its time consuming but well worth the effort once you see the final result

Yeah, thats the reason I did it... I think it looks better too, IMO haha

i dotn know how to use the clay bar...anyone want to explain?
Here is what I did... Wash the car so its clean of course. Then use the spray that they give you to spray one little area that you want to clay. Rub the clay on that area over and over until the area is clean enough for you, or in my case, the clay would turn brown from the contaminants and dirt. Wipe away the area you did, then wax (or you could just wait until the end to wax your whole car at once). Fold/knead clay as needed, and repeat process throughout the whole car.

where did you buy this? i'm very interested. i need one actually.
Most any automotive store. I got mine at Pep Boys "Cars Like Us, Ricers Love Us!" I recommend getting Clay Magic over Mothers though. With mothers, they give you Wax also, but I already had wax, so I didn't need it. Mothers: $14.99 Clay Magic $9.99 and they give you a bigger clay bar. I've never used Mothers so I can't say which is better. I did a search and a lot of people were liking Clay Magic. But either way, clay is clay, it'll do its job.

so basically.. it rubs away swirls and stuff right?
No

Does it also remove tar and crap from the road?
Yes, that is its main purpose. Over time your car starts building a layer of contaminants over the clear coat. The clay bar takes away the contaminants and everything over the clear coat, including wax. That is why you MUST wax your car after claying. When you clay you'll notice that it looks like your car is all scratched up, but don't worry. Wax it and it'll look like a brand new Civic out of the dealership

RedDragon333: Dayam, your car DOES look like a mirror! Cleanest Red 7thgen I've ever seen.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! Now go Clay your car!

Just wanna say that I also plan on joining STAGE 7: So Cal, even though I still have a Texas license plate. I'll be driving back to Dallas this Christmas to visit family and pass emissions on the car and get my 2004 sticker and all that. So let me know if there are any meets going on around that time! Happy Modding.

that sounds kinda like PREPSOLVE the stuff they use before they paint the cars . To remove wax, contaminats and tar.. the only thing is it smells really bad, really flamable..U can also use gunk off i think is the name of it tto remove tar off the car cant use too much though..wash and dry ur car, spray some on a towel wipe only the areas with tar spray the car again with water, dry and wax. It a lot of work but i have to do it i have a white car.
