guy my 2oo2 civic 4dr i disconnected the battery to install a short ram air filter now the stock cd player is askin for a code please help guys what should i do?

Rep Power: 309 You'll probably have to take it to the honda dealer... Because when you buy the car from the dealer the factory stereo comes with a code, kinda like a theft deterent deal... Its usually kept with the manual and stuff..

Rep Power: 0 Yup yup, that's the only way (that I know about) to get the code. It is usually a credit card lookin thing that has the code on it. So just call up Honda and they should be able to hook that up for you.

Rep Power: 0 yah easiest way is to contact the dealer, but if you havent already make sure you check all the compartments when i bought my 2002 used they hid the code in the change drawer.

Rep Power: 290 should be free to just look it up by the code on the back of ur stereo or vin number, they have to have it somewhere, why charge u, its there responsibility to keep taht stuff
