Update: Time To Say Goodbye - 56 Ghey
With the impending call from Carter Subaru in Seattle, I've been "de-modding" the Civic from her show-class beauty to a more stock look. She'll be traded-in just days from now.
Here are some pictures in memorial. . . .

Just a glimpse at the "de-modding" carnage. ALL suspension is now back to stock. Most of the interior is back to stock. I REALLY miss the Sparcos. All three LCDs have been removed, and the rest of the ICE will be coming out this week. . . along with the alarm and all the lighting. I have a stock set of rims and tires coming this week so I can pull off the RHs . . . and from there all I need to put her back to stock is the removal of the I/H/E combination.
It's been VERY sad to see her lose her character over the last few weeks. Some of the first things to go were the Sparcos. . . and when my girlfriend came up the week following, she couldn't get used to the stock seats again.
It's going to be hard starting over with a totally stock car, again.
lease:
A moment of silence, please.

Indeed. . . the STi will be an excellent project. However, I'll be focussing more on performance mods than shows.
Connie, All the ICE I wanted to sell has been sold. . . the rest goes into the STi when I pick it up. The visors are already in the hands of a proud new owner.
Thanks to all those who have admired the clean the professional look I strive for. . . . I can guarantee that will not change with the introduction of the new car.

Hey, I'm sorry to see the ole' girl go, too. I'm already missing the way I had her set up. But it's just my time to move onto bigger and better things. I've really got the bug for autocross and road racing, and I'd like a better platform with which to start.
Had I already another daily in the garage, I probably would have picked up a 350Z Track and started on one of those. But for now, the two extra doors and full trunk will be a welcome change. The new ICE will be audio only, and I'll be keeping the amps, head unit, etc. . . dropping one of the 12s in favor of a single 12 in a custom-fabbed fiberglass enclosure to save on both weight and space occupied in the trunk.
And don't worry. . .. I'll post plenty of pictures and visit the site in the future. Just because I will no longer have a Vic doesn't mean I don't like them anymore.

You won't be sorry.
Believe me.
It was tough stripping the Civic when it came time to trade it in for the WRX. But once we got the car, it was no lookin back after that. The suspension is unbelievable. The only thing you may want the change would be the audio in terms of interior mod's (assuming you opted for the stereo seeing that they don't come stock since it's not really meant to be a street car). It's (the audio) really not all that great compared to the Civic. Off roading is awesome! That car is a beast! Now when some kid in a Neon pulls up to a traffic light and rev's, there's no effort whatsoever needed to beat him.
Have fun!

Most everything has been sold, save the wheels (local buyers only) and a few other odds and ends.

Today:
Pulled 90% of the ICE
Interior still in a million pieces
Tomorrow:
Pulling neons, strobes, alarm system
Pulling body kit
Pulling door and rear speakers
Reassembly of interior
Reinstallation of airbox
Swapping of Racing Harts for stock rims and tires
At that point, I'll be pretty much done.

Oh of course! I wouldn't tease you guys like that and refrain from posting pictures.
BTW, I'll post some pictures I took today while I was stripping the car down. Funny stuff!
