Totaled civic
On Friday night i had an accident and my car is probably totaled. How much do you think i would be able to get for it?? It's an 01 lx coupe with 31000 miles. I had 17's, lowering springs, xplod cd player, spoiler, tinted windows. It wasn't my fault in the accident some grandma didn't see my car when she was turning left and hit my door i did almost a 180 degree spin before i knocked down a pole.

if its totaled, then you'll get what the car is worth (Kelly Blue book or other).... thats what the insurance company will give you any way. Most insurance companys dont give a damn about what mods you've put on the car, to them its worth whats in the book.
Actually it really depends on the adjuster. A friend of mine worked for Geico for a few years, and he would kick down extra for fixed up cars. Sometimes he had to bitch with the corporate office, but most of the time they didn't blink at a few grand over blue book.
Good luck.
Good luck.

ot all depends on the insurance but if the insirance is cool they will let you take some of the mods off so you can salvage what you can. 9 times out of 10 if they do give you something for the mods then they ask for a receipt so they know you got the mods legit
When my jeep was stolen my insurance covered my mods, I did hae to show them reciepts though. Also if you have a lot of mods and are worried about not getting reimbursed you can actually insure your mods (well...with most companies you can) They tack whatever amount of mods you have onto the total value of the car. Just some food for thought. Good luck with your ins company.
If its not your fault you can get back what you have in MODS. Just dont take whatever they offer you. Also, you can get replacemnt retail value for the car, instead of just the value. Raise hell with them. Your ins company should get your back if its not your fault. They will sue the other insuarnce company of the other driver most likely. I know from experience. I got replacemnet value for my 98 civic, and every dime I spent on my rims, seats, engine bolt ons and audio. You just have to be patient and raise hell. But you do have to receipts.
I sure wish my car was newer

Am I the only one who keeps his receipts for everything? I have all of my receipts, all of my credit card statements, print-outs from paypal, etc. I keep everything whether the mod is for rims and tires, or for oil and washer fluid. You can't take your chances with how crooked insurance companies are.
