seatbelts for aftermarket seats

Is there a way to use your oem seatbelt with aftermarket racing look seats? Can you take the receiver part and put it in the aftermarket seat?

The receiver is bolted to the floor. So, as long as the angle is ok, you should be able to use the same belt with the aftermarket seats.

Yukonart will become famous soon enough
Our belt receivers ARE bolted to the seats. . . . you'll have to find some way to attach them either to the floor or to the seat. Either way, you're looking at a custom bracket.

( At least on the 2002 coupes this is true. )

Make sure you put some thought into it too... You need to make sure the loading is on the BOLTS, not the bracket.

My aftermarket seats came with brackets made so that you could attach the seatbelt buckle to the bracket. No modification needed.

whoa whoa whoa... hold on.

WTF? They're bolted to the seats? That's the first time I've heard something about our cars and though "Wow, that's just stupid."

But now I feel like an idiot.
