The interior of the car is growing on me, although I still kind of disapprove of the shifter placement. I could use it but it kills the purpose of driving with one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the shifter. I think the placement of the shifter in the regular Civics couldn't be in a better place for my needs.

What full coilovers are you considering? Do you know if Zeal makes a V6 for the EP3s? If they do, Endless might have my attention.

Congrats on the new car. I just got a 03 civic ex, the one problem with my car is the shifter is hindered by the center console armrest. ! The civic si placement is ideal for clean shifting.
Do you feel a noticable big difference in acceleration? I test drove one but i needed a bigger car. I traded my 00 civic Hatch for the coupe.

Don't mean to get OT but I used to use the armrest - but I personally think it just gets in the way if you're a one-handed driver driving manual. Yet that says your seat isn't reclined like mine (where you can lean back and comfortably have each hand on the shifter and steering wheel.) The armrest would just aim up and be in the way if I put it down.

Who needs an armrest? Use the shifter.

In my opinion, the Si's solid body swallows up wheels smaller than 18s. The body really lacks lines compared to the coupe. I've seen plenty Si hatches on 15s, 16s, 17s, and 18s and 18s are the size that successfully fill the wheel gap. 19s look too big, but i wonder if the WIDTH of the wheel has anything to do about it. All the wheels that I've seen on it that looked good had a 7 and a 1/2 inch width. It helps cuz it doesn't look like the body of the car literally eats wheels but I just don't think it looks good on 15s or 16s especially. Maybe 17s if it's 17x7.5 but 18x7.5 looks perfect. Too bad it's not a performance size.

The RSX is almost no different. The body lacks lines but pulls off a more decent look since it resembles closer to a coupe. In the end, it still looks like an egg.

But like a Civic coupe (and a lot of econo-Hondas), you really don't know how good the body of the car looks once it's dropped. IMO, the only car that fails out of the three is the Si unless it's dropped on 18s.

Just my 2 pennies.
