4500K CATZ HID High/Low Kit
I put the little caps on the mounting bases this afternoon. The lights don't look like bats anymore.

Hey I just installed mine this afternoon too. They are beautiful. My only problem is that they are too bright. Everyone has been flashing there highbeams at me even a cop. So I flashed my high beams back. Damn my low beam lights up the whole street and when I put the high beam it looks like daylight. They are so bright. Im kinda worried Ima get pulled over.

The installation took a lot longer than I thought.. about 4 hours. It wasn't difficult, but there was so much wiring to do. Also, it was really hot and humid outside.

I haven't really driven my car yet.. just around the block. They are really bright! When I first turned them on at night, I was like "whoa!". They are a lot brighter than the SilverStars I had before. I also like how it starts out bluish and then becomes white.

TooLOw did you aim them at the same height as your stock lights? Maybe they're aimed too high and that's what's causing the problem w/ others flashing you. If they're aimed the same as stock, maybe try going a bit lower to avoid this?
I think thats what the problem is. I love them though cus I can see the ground really good, the sides, and even higher. They are very very good. I am so happy with them. If anybody wants to know if they are worth yes they are. Very worth the money. So do I adjust them by the way the manual says since I have the stock housings
I've never had to aim them so how so I do it??

I got mine from Liteswap.com for $528.99. The HID Kits are no longer displayed on the website due to the ban, however you can still get them by sending an e-mail to info@liteswap.com.

guys guys guys... it NEVER seems like you have clean lines on your HID... seems VERY sloppy... HID when done correctly should be a clean like at the break off... ever seen an S2000 when it pulls up behind a car at night? CLEAN line with color in the break off... BEAUTIFULL! you are all buying universal kits that arent designed to fit in your housings, HID is vERY sensitive to the distance beetween itself and the edge of the lamp, it changes A LOT on the beam pattern... you should go out and get a quality kit designed for you, not this universal mass produced stuff.. i payed like $100 less, and my kit is SO much cleaner than that.... Hella baby, HELLA
JayJay, I just got mine today, did you end up having to remove the bumper/housings from the car to put your bulbs in? Also, I just talked to eric(liteswap) he reminded me that even though we already have covers on the front of the bulbs stock, use those little caps that came with the kit it should sharpen your beam pattern.

islanboun, I did remove the front bumper just in case I wanted to mount the ballast units or the high-low solenoid controller somewhere down there. However, I did not remove the headlight housing assemblies. I ended up putting the ballast units and the high-low solenoid controller on the sides of the engine bay. Thus, I didn't have to remove the front bumper at all.
When I have some free time and if it's not raining, I'll try using those little caps as well as relocate the hardware and organize the wires. It was so hot on Saturday and things were taking a lot longer than I had expected, I just did what I could to get it working.

Ok guys mine are up and running. I used the caps without removing the housings, they fit just fine. I dont understand what the big deal is about people saying not to pu HID in the stock housings, mine came out great. I even got a compliment on my way home. I just have to aim them later on tonight, I assume that is done with that little hex screw ?
