Rep Power: 0 I'm 16 going into senior yr of hs. My parents paid for my car in cash for me. I pay for my mods. Now that I got a ticket I have to pay for insurance (I didnt have to b4). Which means that all my money will be going to insurance instead of my car (I NEED RIMS DAMNIT!). I work at a golf course for minimum wage, but I get free golf.
I wish I had a good paying job with decent hours so I could mod my Civic, to hell with insurance. Who needs it?

My Mom is currently paying for my car, and the insurance is under my Dad's name ($65 full coverage). I used to work and thats how I got all of my mods. Now I'm jobless, and I'm stressing b/c the economy sux and my Mom isn't getting much business in her 99c store. I feel so useless! Been looking for a job so I can help pay some of her bills, but I haven't found any : (

Work Full Time... I have an Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design Technology.. I work 8-5 M-F at a local Engineering firm.. I make good money.. I still live at home. I'd have alot more mods if it wasnt for my stupid credit card debts... Dammit....

Rep Power: 0 I'm only 16 as a senior cause I grew up in San Diego (first 10 years of life) where the cutoff was December 5, 1986. And I was born November 11, 1986. Thats why I'm only 16 going into Senior year (but I will be 17 in a few months).
Its gonna suck for a while in college, for one I dont turn 18 until 3 months into the year in college and I dont turn 21 until 3 months into my senior year in college.

Rep Power: 0 16 (turn 17 on aug 22), going into senior year (in sept), run my own home business (modding nextels), and mom paid for car/insurance/tints (for me LOL), but i will pay for mods (rims/drop/HIDs/ICE coming in time), and she claims the car is hers (until she get's bored of it)

22 part time worker in enterprise pay cheap cheap! and full time college student at city. i get pay every 2 weeks soo.. the first 2 weeks is all mine =) the second paycheck is to the car payment so... for the whole month i probaby getting 200-300 to use on my car or myself.

network administrator wife is executive assistant both work make descent money pay for everything ourselves. just got married last august, so had to lease the car at the time cause we had to pay for a $38,000 dollar wedding primarily by ourselves and a $8,000 honeymoon. buying it out in the end(dont think they will take it back, after what ive done to it, hahaahahhaa )

Ive paid for the mods myself, of course not too may mods. Full time student at UNO. Took a summer class so didnt make nearly as much money as I could. Full/Part time worker at a Ambulance company as a IT Tech intern. Damn I need more money. GF takes up a part, but she has a 94 accord and wants to mod it up as well as my car. Luckly I have aid for college or I wouldnt have mods.

But i plan on getting a different job cuz its shitty and eats up gas getting there its 30 minutes away. I got a lease car too cuz thats all we could afford at the time but im making all the payments and paying for my mods, after the lease is due im definately buying it.
im 18. just graduated highschool and starting college in a month. i bought the civic from selling my old car and money that my dad owed me. negotiated the dealer so i spent all the money i had. as for mods, i worked alot of jobs, but currently unemployed. so little mods for now. i think buying teins killed me. lol

Rep Power: 307 im 20, me and my brother basically share the car. Hes older than me and makes a lot more money, so he pays for the car payments and I pay for the mods. Im about to get my kit soon, then exhaust and im done. I will then post pics of my car. I work 2 jobs right now, about 30 hrs a week combined. My bro is given me the car once its paid off cuz hes planning on getting a rsx type s or rx-8.
21 and i did it all by myself, other than my short shift which was a gift. Parents offered to have car and insurance in thier name so i could save money but i wanted to do it by myself. SOOOOO i have a 370 a month car payment and 330 insurance......mods are when i have the cash..though i work hard and 2 jobs....60 hrs a week. I still live at him so it helps but i'm moving out in september with a buddy so mods will slow down alot. I'm done college and trying to become a police officer. A car is best when you do it all by yourself, no help given.
