just bought myself a new tranny from east park auto wreckers in ny. cost me $750 for the whole transmission assembly. yall think i got a decent deal or did i get shafted?

EDIT: Look up Manual Transmission oil.
When a tranny heats up, gears grind easily but I'm sure you know that. This could prove to be a worthy and cheap solution.

I was just having a conversation with a guy at autozone about this, synthetic oil can be used as tranny fluid. Sorry if im wrong but ive have heard this 3 times now.
