I admit, for that single reason, it's probably a decent purchase. Just seems like a lot of work to go through for a bigger engine with no change in transmission.

Who needs low boost
You can still turbo the K20A2 (RSX Type S) with its high compression and get over 300 hp at around 12 psi with a turbo.
The Si is not worth the effort and cost.

Well it would be a nice change to have if you got it. But I would not buy that motor. And I'll tell you why. First off he didn't say anything about it coming with an ECU. And he said it did not come out of a wrecked car. So it could be stolen, or it could be one of the defective motors that honda swapped out. And that would make sense, since it has such low miles on it.

Si motor + type S head = 40+ horse to the wheels... NO BS... done my homework.. plus, i've seen typeR trannies for arouns $1500 or so, so for cheaper than typeR you can have LOTS of fun,,,.,.,.,,.
