NO THE BOX STILL OPENS AND CLOSES FINE.......YES I CAN READ THE GAUGES....BUT I MIGHT TAKE THEM OUT IF THERE B/C IM SAVING FOR A TURBO AND I WANT TO PUT THEM ON MY A-PILLER I WILL PROLLY GET AMP TEMP GAUGES FOR MY AMPS IN THE BACK SEAT
