Full Sized Spare

Question to anyone... I was thinking of putting in a full sized spare but I just wanted to get some opinions on what you all thought about the idea... or any suggestions on how to do it... heres what I have so far.....

i think its a great idea especially if you have a big brake kit and cant fit the little donut spare on there when you get a flat tire.

well.. i would make a mold of the trunk.. and raise everything up just enufff to cover the rim with a clear plexi glass panel

Hey Ryan thats a great idea... For show purposes you cold just cut around the tire and let the rim stick out...Then you could have it nice and armor all'ed for the shows... Just a thought..

that's pretty nice if you have the cash (obviously you do), so finish up the job and make a clean enclosure for it.

I didnt think a full size fit it. I got 18z, havent tried tho. Custom enclosure would be phat tho.

I think I'm gonna hold off with the spare idea and go for a sub... I need some better I.C.E. in the vic, I'm lackin in that area

I just finished with the full spare.... I didnt go with the sub cuz Im gettin the rims powder coated (in the process now) just gotta find the digital camera and I'll take some pics

You should put a piece of black carpet under it so you wont see the red....armor all that tire too..

Very nice work. The rims are gonna look awesome black instead of white, a nice change for sure!

I'm doing something like that. I just ordered my replacement rim for the one that bent and I've been working on my trunk designs for a while. I'll post my stuff when it's done.
