ok so i go and get some pizza hut drive through right... i leave make a right and go to the turning lane... unfortunately i didnt see a TOW HITCH sitting in the road cause i was too busy paying attention to my drink that was spilling... BOOOOOOOOOM ... the car feels like it was hit by another car and i take air and practally go on two wheels.... I call up pops and ask him to bring two of my stockies and and my lug key's as im waiting im inspecting the rims... the front one the lip on the inside was bent out about the size of a tenis ball . the rear one wasnt bent from what i could tell so i just switch'd both them off...THANK GOD though cause i brought them home... HAMMERED THE F U C K out one of the rims and seemed to of fixed it .... the other rim was fine and i just filled it with air and the tire 'pop'd' right back on... well... I guess ill know tomorrow if the one rim is ok cause i filled it with air and it seemed to hold it.. but ill know for sure tomorrow moring when i wake up to check if its still full.... Peep what i ran over--- i swear im going down to town hall tomorrow and demanding 495 for a new rim. Everyone with rims beware.. this totally sucked as i was in the middle of DPA..(deer park ave) .... its like A1A for all u floridians....

yeah thank god it bent the inside lip and not the outside.. rims and tires seem fine... im just worried about it holding air ... but Ill know fer sure tomorrow...


nah ive had friends get money for new rims cause of pot holes in the towns.. its their fault not ours... and it wasnt really my fault..
how was i supposed to know there was a tow hitch in the road? like thats a normal thing? i blame the cops for not removing it ... there on every corner on that road.

trailer hitches are not pot holes. plain and simple. i dont think you're gonna get any money. the roads are cared for by the state/city/town, but things on the road are a different thing. it could have came off any car, be it state/town or another citizen. it is ur responsibility to pay attention to the road and avoid things like that.

but i'm also sorry to hear about what happened.

hey jsut so you know, i am a mechaninc in training, and i know it may seem fine, but you should have themchecked out at your local tire shop, becuase i gaurantee that they are out of balance. Believe me i dont doubt your lazer accurate banging skills, i think that you should still have a second opinion. And if they are fine then they are fine, the worst that could happen is that you drive down there to find out that they are either perfectly fine or that you need to replace them becuase they are not safe to drive on. I dont want to lose a fellow civic owner due to a stupid bent rim
