Rear Springs Higher?

Hello.

I have an 05 Sedan and need lowering springs.
I dont want a big drop, 1.4" all around is fine for me, which kind of rules neuspeed sports out.

My question is: What are my other options as far as a drop is concerned?

Can I use coupe springs and somehow put something between the rear spring and the top to make it sit higher?

Or anything i can put anywhere to make it sit an inch higher?

I have an 05 sedan also, here is my drop.

They are TEIN S Techs..the drop is a bit bigger than what you want..but to me, i think its a perfect drop. like 1.7 - 1.8 (you can hardly fit your finger in the wheel well.
Yes the springs are made for coupes.
However my rear is not lower than my front.

Try H&Rs...you wont be dissapointed

The gap is about 1.5-2 fingers..no scrapping (yet)...

Sportlines is what I've got, 1.5" once settled, they call for 1.4 but it's more

the rear will always be lower unless you get coilovers - look at a factory beamer for example.....

I was about to ask the same question.... I wanted to go lower in the front than the back. The springs I have right now are the Teins H-Tech which lowers about a inch. I have been wanting to buy the Teins S-Tech which lowers it about a inch and a half.

Well I want the front to be lower than the back because once I put my speakers and amps the height should come out even. Does any one see any harm in this at all to put different spring on the front (1.5") and the back (1.0")???? As long as I get a alignment I don't see any harm.

And ya'll will probably say "why not get coilovers?"... I don't like the ride on them... a little much for me right now. And yeah I would like to get the Teins SS but not in the budget right now.

Hopefully I am not thread jacking... I just thought this was in the same subject. Thanks.

^ the H&R silver sedan looks great, that drop is perfect and thats what i want, but i have a big system in the trunk
the black civic wit hthe tein s tech also looks great.

i want a drop similar to those, without the rear sagging and i want to maximize ride quality (dont care much about handling)

can i jsut cut a couple of coils off my stock springs and re use them with my soon-to-be AGX's?

Thanx for the comment. I've got a big a$$ sub in my trunk too that weighs a ton but it doesnt seem to sag the rear. Reason being was after the drop, the rear was actually sitting higher than the front, so with the sub it was just nice...am happy with the drop...money well spent...hopefully the shocks last a year or more then it will be koni yellows...

Why dont u just get the neuspeed springs for sedans? They drop the front an extra 2" more that the rear if i'm not mistaken...where I come from, we dont have such brand springs so we gotta go for coilovers or just live with a rear sag :P But i''m fortunate the H&Rs give a great even drop...

i like the neuspeed sports but i think its too much of a drop for me.

my only problem is that my dad takes my car without asking and he isnt careful at all.

i was looking for 1.4 - 1.5" all around

yes, there are spacers available for lowering springs...there are metal and rubber ones...i highly dont suggest them...its a big NO NO NO...my rear sagged and tried it, i had tenzo-r 2.0 inches around.... it was a pain putting the spacers, and the ride was compromised...if u were to put spacers, then u were better off putting coilover sleeves....i suggest go 1.7

i agree with claudeboi...the spacers/"spring boosters" sit only at 2 points on the spring. When the spring compresses, the weight is not evenly distributed accross the springs. This may cause the springs to break.
