eibach's popping
eibach's popping
alright... here's the situation...
Had my pro-kit springs installed yesterday, and now there's a popping noise when I turn the wheel. So, i did a little research and found that its due to an index problem. That's where it gets tricky... every time i index, they pop out of alignment when I put the car back down on the ground.
Any ideas of what I can do would help.

Something isn't right, because the springs should not move relative to the strut at all. The upper mount, the spring hat and the lower seat all need to be lined up, then when dropped, the spring should press into the upper seat and find its place with the lower end seated firmly against the stop face on the lower seat. if the spring is rotating, then check the bearings and make sure that they're not binding.

There is the issue of if the spring is mounted too close to the "hump" on the spring perch it can make noises..

UPDATE!!!!!!!
Problem solved! It was a problem with the bearings binding up. Everything is smooth sailin no baby.
Love the springs, just the drop I wanted. Now the challenge is to not screw everything up on the pothole laden roads of Vermont.
Thanks, for the help guys
