Thumbs up RSX rear 19mm sway bar installed

I bought one from a member of clubrsx. I received and installed it yesterday. There is definately a noticable difference in handling... the back end doesn't seem so sluggish during turns anymore. Understeer has been reduced.

I also installed a Neuspeed front upper strut bar a few weeks ago, and I have a generic rear upper strut bar coming from eBay. I'm excited

So, in conclusion, I give the 19mm RSX-S rear sway bar

Edit: I have a 2002 EX.

slap some energy suspension or prothane urethane bushings on it and you'll REALLY notice a difference

What are prothane urethane bushings?

And energy suspension? Is that springs and shocks?

it will pull the rear of the chasis tight so you wont have any flex while turning and handling will be stiffer

I recently installed the type-s bar along with ES bushings and neuspeed front bushings. It made a big diff. I really love the handling of the car right now.

No sense starting a new thread... got a few quickies now that my bar has finally arrived.
1. Do you have to grease the bushings when you install it (they're the Acura bushings)?
2. I don't think it'll happen, but do the lower arms come down when you pull the old bar off (do I need to prop the arms up)?
3. Is there a specified torque on the end link bolts?

1. If they're rubber you don't grease. If they're polyurethane you grease. I think the OEM ones are rubber.
2. Old bar? If you have a rear sway bar already and you detach it, nothing else will move. If you're talking about a rear tie bar, then yes. The lower control arms will move down. Not with force, but they'll slide out. Take off the wheels and use a jack from underneath to get them back into place. Some tweaking will be required of course...
3. Hmm... All bolts have a specific torque that they should be set at. Search Google.com and look up the torque spec. The torque spec. also varies with bolt size, number of threads, and bolt material.

Go to jegs.com and find out for yourself. They're $13.99, but some cost more. Shipping is another $5 or so. I think you can get them for cheaper somewhere else, but I don't know where exactly... ??? Anyway, I also have a 27mm front set for sale. The link is in my sig.
